multi bath remodel

splish splash of color

The bathrooms in this home were dated and the materials were of low quality.  Storage was almost non-existent.

One of the baths was for the kids, so we wanted to do something bright and fun. We used a glass tile for the shower floor and aqua painted cabinets. This would be shared by a son and daughter which was taken into consideration when choosing the colors and patterns.  We were sure to give each their own drawers, towel ring and robe hook!

the dilemma

making moves

The plan was to convert the tub shower to all shower, but we wanted to allow light to come in, so we suggested a half wall. That wall contained the plumbing which had to be relocated to an adjacent wall.

By relocating the plumbing to the opposite wall, we were able to include the half wall.

The added cost of moving plumbing is worth it sometimes. In this case, the plumbing wall in the shower moved to allow for a half wall that lets in lots of light.

fun addition

fuschia fun

These clients didn’t want to shy away from color, they had bold plans for their primary bath. We went to the plumbing supply store with the clients (where they took a few bathtubs for a spin) and found out that we could customize the primary bathtub with an almost endless choice of colors.

After narrowing down to a few options, the clients decided on a bright fuschia.

They chose a beautiful marble and gold mosaic to pair with their show stopping bathtub, accenting the gold fixtures.
