After more than 25 years of helping homeowners transform their kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces, it felt like the right time for my brand to evolve alongside the work I’ve been doing for years. While the name has changed, the heart and mission behind the business has not!
This rebrand isn’t about becoming something new. It’s about putting a name to what this company has already become: a full-service design-build firm dedicated to creating beautiful spaces and making the remodeling journey genuinely enjoyable for the people who trust us with their homes.
A Lifetime in This Industry
Design, construction, and cabinetry have been part of my story for decades.
I grew up around this industry. Long before I owned a remodeling company, I was learning the value of craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and treating people the right way. My family’s roots in cabinetry and kitchen design stretch back to the 1960s, and those lessons shaped the way I approach every project today.
Over the past 25+ years, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of homeowners navigate renovations of all sizes. I’ve seen trends come and go, solved just about every remodeling challenge imaginable, and learned one very important thing:
A successful remodel is about so much more than beautiful cabinets, stunning countertops, or the perfect tile.
It’s about the experience!
Why the Change?
When I launched The Cabinetry, cabinetry was at the center of what we did.
But over the years, something interesting happened.
My clients weren’t just coming to me for cabinets. They were coming to me because they wanted someone they trusted to guide them through an entire renovation. They wanted a partner who could help them make decisions, solve problems, manage moving pieces, and bring their vision to life from start to finish.
Today, my team and I manage complete kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, additions, and whole-home transformations.
The truth is, we’ve outgrown the name.
Marlene & Co. better reflects the collaborative, full-service experience we’ve been providing for years. It’s personal. It’s intentional. And it represents the incredible team, tradespeople, partners, and clients who make this work so rewarding!
Remodeling Should Be Exciting, Not Exhausting
Let’s be honest.
Most people start a remodeling project with equal parts excitement and anxiety.
They’ve heard the horror stories. Budgets that spiral out of control. Endless delays. Contractors who disappear. Decision fatigue. Communication breakdowns.
By the time many clients walk through my door, they’re already bracing themselves for a stressful experience.
And I absolutely hate that.
One of the things I’m most proud of is hearing clients say, “Wow, that was actually fun!” Because I truly believe remodeling can be enjoyable.
When there’s a clear plan, open communication, realistic expectations, and an experienced team guiding the process, homeowners can spend less time worrying and more time dreaming about the finished space!
That’s the experience I’ve worked hard to create over the last two decades.

This new chapter is about growth, creativity, and continuing to raise the bar for what a remodeling experience can be.
In the coming months, I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes insights, design inspiration, project highlights, and a closer look at the proven process we’ve developed to keep projects on time, on budget, and enjoyable from start to finish.
